Privacy policy

We protect your data!

When you interact with Aagaard Systems, you trust us with your information. This Privacy Policy is designed to help you understand what data we collect, why we collect it, and how we handle it.

This is important to ensure not only the safety of your personal data, but also to reassure you that Aagaard Systems complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), effective from May 25th, 2018.

This Privacy Policy applies to the following domains:

1. Personal Information - What we collect and why

We offer specific site features, services, applications, and tools available only through the use of the following tracking technologies. You are always free to block, delete, or disable these technologies if your browser, application, or device allows. However, declining cookies or similar technologies may prevent you from using certain site features, services, applications, or tools.

These technologies generally allow our sites, services, applications, and tools to store relevant information in your browser or device and later access that data to identify you on our servers or internal systems. Where applicable, we protect our cookies and other similar technologies with a unique identifier so only we and/or our authorized service providers can interpret them.

This website collects and uses personal information for the following reasons:

1.1. Google Analytics

Like most websites, we use Google Analytics (GA) to track user interaction. We use this data to understand the number of users on our site, how they find and use our web pages, and to analyze their journey through the website.

Although GA records data such as your geographical location, device, browser, and operating system, none of this information personally identifies you to us. GA does record your computer’s IP address, which could be used to identify you personally, but Google does not grant us access to this. We consider Google to be a third-party data processor (see section 2 below).

GA uses cookies, details of which can be found on Google's developer guides. Disabling cookies in your browser will prevent GA from tracking any part of your visit to our website.

1.2. Google Tag Manager

To improve your experience on our website and provide you with more personalized and targeted campaigns and offerings, we use Google Tag Manager (GTM).

GTM is a snippet of code that helps us track user behavior on our sites and sends the data to our Google Analytics account, where it is organized for assessment and review for site improvements and remarketing campaigns. We consider Google a third-party data processor (see section 2 below).

Information collected from cookies set in your device that qualify as personal data will be processed by Albacross and Leadfeeder, companies offering lead identification and ad targeting services.
